Try not to get too frazzled if it’s your first time getting waxed. You’re not alone. In fact, most people that come into our Brazils Waxing Center in Orlando, FL (Near UCF) for the first time have the same thoughts and questions you do. One of the keys to feeling comfortable at your appointment is to understand what to expect, and what you can do to prepare ahead of time.

As tempting as it may be to clean up the area with a quick trim or plucking, you really shouldn’t. You’re going to get a waxing done because of unruly hair. If you trim or pluck it, the wax may not adhere to the hair properly. If the hair being waxed is not long enough, the wax will not grip it, resulting in a poor wax job.

If you do trim or pluck regularly, it’s best to let your hair grow for 2-3 weeks before you go and get it waxed. It can be off-putting to walk in for a wax and expose your harry bits, but those who work in Brazils Wax Center are not going to judge you. They expect people with unwanted hair to come in, and they are professionals that wax hair for a living.
